Something very interesting in the latest Notice of Trustee sales.
Apparently, Beazer Homes Holding Corp owns a parcel of land at 524-170-12-00 that will be sold at an auction on August 29, 2007. The value of the land is approximately $3,000,000.
Is this the same Beazer Homes (BZH) that is listed on the NYSE that has been in the news lately for their issues with a rumored bankruptcy, class action lawsuits and subprime lending troubles in North Carolina?
If anyone can confirm this or has any other information please let me know.

What kind of auction? A tax lien sale would be $40-50K after one year. I'm there.
It is a bit confusing.
The NOT's sale lists $92,743.86 past due. But it does not mention Beazer, however, the property profile from First American Title lists the owner as Beazer Homes Holding Corp.
My guess right now, which could be wrong, is this is some sort of a land option owned by Beazer?

it appears that Bryce Patterson owns it.
What I can't figure is that the loan amount for the 1st is 298,250 and a 2nd og 74,550. Both through Suntrust....doesn't Crisp have some loans through Suntrust?? LOL
After looking at it I think the search is popping a residence with the land itself. It must be a error as I doubt this fellow bought the 39 acres for 375k.
So I would assume Beazer still owns it...I guess!
Sometimes the assessor is late in picking up the subdivision lot numbers and when a NOT is posted, it looks like the whole piece is in default. This piece (524-170-12) was/is owned by Beazer and was subdivided into a housing tract. Beazer has since built homes on the property and the notice of sale is actually for a house located on the 40 acres (12001 CHRISTMAS ROSE DR). Its the house that is in foreclosure, not the 40 acres.
